Nine Thai film companies attended the Cannes Film Festival 2017 at Cannes, France and joined a business matching activity hosted by the DITP during the fair from May 18 to 22.
“This year business matching generated US$24.4 million (830 million baht), or double the 2016 figure. The most popular are Thai horror films while there is a positive response for Thai comedies and action movies too,” DITP General-Director Malee Choklumlerd said.
