The DITP, the Charoen Pokphand Group and Loxley, acting as regional advisors, have joined forces to support Thai SMEs expand their product distribution channel in six big cities in China, Commerce Vice Minister Winichai Chaemchaeng said at the launch of the Tai Le Gou project on June 7.

Under this project, the regional advisors will select potential products in several categories such as agriculture, processed agricultural products, health and beauty, and food, and distribute these products through their stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Shantou and Guangzhou, where there is a high demand for Thai products.

“The Tai Le Gou project will run from now until the end of February 2018. We expect it will help boost the export value of Thai products to China and make the products get greater acceptance among Chinese consumers,” DITP General-Director Malee Choklumlerd said.
