Representatives of the DITP office in Los Angeles brought 36 Thai entrepreneurs, who are participants in the ‘Partnership With e-Commerce Companies’ programme to the US from June 12 to 18.
During the trip, they met with representatives from three leading American e-commerce companies including Amazon.com, Paypal and Alphabet to discuss potential cooperation with Thaitrade.com.
“This activity was very successful because Thai entrepreneurs can apply the knowledge learned to their online businesses,” said DITP Director-General Malee Choklumlerd.
Later this year, Thaitrade.com SOOK (Small Order OK) will form an e-marketing bridge with Amazon.com to promote Thai products through the ‘One Click, Double Online Revenue’ programme. The online trading website will also link to Paypal’s payment system to enhance its competitiveness.
