German business delegates from Magdeburg visited DITP’s office in Bangkok on June 3 to strengthen business and investment relations between Thailand and Germany.
“The German delegates have invited Thai entrepreneurs to seek trade opportunities in Magdeburg and other cities in Germany, and want to jointly develop Thai products by adding innovation, and market these products in the European Union,” DITP Director-General Malee Choklumlerd said. “Potential products for the Magdeburg market include design items and products, and services for the elderly.”
In the past three years, bilateral trade between Thailand and Germany averaged just over US$10 billion per year.
