HRH Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi presided over the opening ceremony of Thai Night 2016 at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14.
Vice Minister for Commerce, Winichai Chaemchaeng and DITP Director-General Malee Choklumlerd were at the venue to welcome Her Royal Highness.
Organised by the DITP under the theme of Thaiconic, the event aimed to promote Thai films globally. It allowed industry professionals to share ideas on Thai film production, as well as developing business cooperation between Thai and international film industries.
