Gem and jewelry exports are expected to grow 10% to US$7.89 billion (278 billion baht) this year, DITP Director-General Malee Choklumlerd stated on April 26.

“Although global economic growth has faced many challenges, exports of Thailand’s jewelry and ornaments will grow strongly in many markets, as our products are recognised for their quality and good design,” Choklumlerd said.
