The Smart Online SMEs (S.O.S.) Project by Thaitrade.com was announced as the winner of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS Prize 2016) on May 3.
“The DITP is proud to offer a service through the S.O.S. Project by Thaitrade.com,” DITP Director-General Malee Choklumlerd said. “Online voting has enabled the project to win the WSIS Prize 2016 which recognises the creative use of interactive digital media in content and diversity.”
Since 2013, the S.O.S project has enhanced the online trading capability of 1,684 Thai entrepreneurs with the total online transactions worth more than US$ 56 million (2,000 million baht).
The WSIS Prize 2016 is organised by the United Nation’s International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
