The DITP announced the launch of the Design Excellence Award (DEmark) 2016 on March 11 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok.

DITP Deputy Director-General, Supapat Ongsangkoon said that, now in its ninth year, Demark remains firm in its mission to support Thai entrepreneurs and designers in adding value and making a difference in terms of design and function. The DEmark logo is an assurance of good design and international quality standards, he assured.

“This year, DITP expects that there will be more entries with new ideas and designs,” said Ongsangkoon.

In 2016, there are six product categories: furniture; gifts and decorative items / household items; fashion apparel / leather goods and jewellery / textiles; home appliances / office equipment and facilities; food, health and beauty packaging; and graphic design.

Interested parties can submit their products for DEmark 2016 from now until April 30 at www.demarkaward.net.
