The DITP, with the Furniture Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries and the Thai Furniture Industries Association, held the Thailand International Furniture Fair 2016 or (TIFF 2016) at Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani, from March 9 to 13.
“We believe that we can increase trade in Thai furniture,” DITP Director General, Malee Choklumlerd, said. “As we enter the ASEAN Economic Community, we have the chance to differentiate Thai businesses from other countries.”
This year, TIFF 2016 was held under the theme of ASEAN Smart Living to reinforce Thailand’s position as the leading hub for furniture manufacturing and trade. Over 200 Thai companies displayed their products. Buyers were able to order small lots from manufacturers at a SOOK or Small Order OK zone.
