The DITP will organise four Thailand Week 2016 events in India and Bangladesh, this year to promote Thai products and services as well as to create new markets for Thai businesspeople.
The first Thailand Week 2016 will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh from March 16 to 19, followed by a second Thailand Week in Chandigarh, India from March 30 to April 3. The third and fourth Thailand Weeks are slated for the Indian cities of Bangalore and Chennai in August.
“Thailand Week events will provide opportunities for Thai businesspeople to meet buyers, and business matching activities will also be organised to facilitate business,” DITP Director General Malee Choklumlerd said on January 4.
