The DITP invited a group of government officials and 23 key machinery importers from Africa to attend a trade negotiation session at the Thailand Tractors and Agricultural Machinery Show 2015 from December 4 to 13.
According to DITP Director-General Malee Choklumlerd, trade negotiations generated US$340,000 in immediate orders, and orders from the African region are expected to reach 100 million baht within a year, largely due to the increasing demand for modern agricultural machinery in various African countries.
