Deputy Commerce Minister Suvit Maesincee together with officials from the ministry and 53 private companies visited Iran from November 20 to 25 to promote and strengthen trade and investment between both countries.

Following the visit, Maesincee revealed that trade negotiations between Thai businesses and 300 Iranian importers have generated orders worth 3.6 million baht for Thai products. He added that demands for Thai goods are expected to reach 260 million baht in 2016.
