Thailand’s Ministry of Interior hosted the 5th Meeting of the Thai-Cambodian Border Provincial Governors in Bangkok from August 26 to 28, with the aim to boost bilateral relations and economic ties between Thai and Cambodian provinces along their common border.
Chaired by Interior Minister General Anupong Paochinda and his Cambodian counterpart Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, 120 high-ranking officials from both countries, including interior permanent secretaries and border provincial governors attended.
During the meeting, both countries discussed border security, the economy, border trade, and social and cultural cooperation.
