A cross-border trade fair held in Songkhla province from June 10 to 14 generated about 30 million baht, according to Commerce Minister Chatchai Sarikalya.
“The fair was organised to boost Thai-Malaysian trade and publicise the development of the Songkhla Special Economic Zone (SEZ),” he said, adding that some 300 Thai and Malaysian traders attended the fair. A meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Commerce and Thai and Malaysian businesses ran parallel to the fair.
