The DITP has granted Thai SELECT seals to Thai instant food businesses to make Thai food more widely recognised by consumers, importers and foreign investors.

Deputy Director General of DITP, Chantira Jimreivat Vivatrat presided over the certification ceremony at Thaifex – World of Food Asia 2015 on 20 May.        

The department also had an exhibition about Thai SELECT at THAIFEX, as well as a cookery demonstration of instant Thai foods that have been certified by Thai SELECT with two distinguished chefs, Nooror Somany Steppe from Blue Elephant restaurant and Dr. Yingsak Jonglertjesdawong.
