The DITP with the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Koelnmesse announced that 1,531 companies from various countries over the world has participated in ThaiFEX – World of Food Asia 2015, this May.
“In 2014, exports from Thailand’s food industry were worth approximately US$23.29 billion,” said DITP Director General Nuntawan Sakuntanaga. “The DITP is focused on exporting to high potential markets such as ASEAN, China and the Middle East while adding value to exports, promoting innovation in line with international trends and forging alliances with international partners.”
THAIFEX – World of Food Asia took place from May 20 to 24 at the IMPACT Convention Centre, Bangkok. May 20 to 22 were business networking days with May 23 to 24 open to the general public.
