The DITP announced a bright future for the exportation of electrical and electronic products from Thailand in April.
“Exports of electrical and electronic products in 2014 increased by 4.3 percent, totaling US$33 billion, and during January and February this year Thailand has already generated US$5.26 billion,” said DITP Director-General Nuntawan Sakuntanaga. “Exports of electronic products in 2015 look promising as Thailand exports computer parts to major markets, including Hong Kong and the United States.”
The main destinations for Thai electronic goods are the US (20%), Hong Kong (19%) and China (11%). Those markets showing the greatest potential include Taiwan, Myanmar and South Korea.
