The 21st annual Phuket Bike Week was held at Patong Beach and Phuket town during April 11-13 and 17-19, 2015. Showcasing over 10,000 bikes from 30 countries and attracting some 50,000 attendees from around the world, this year’s theme was ASEAN Ride Together.

The bike week, jointly organised by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation, Patong Town Municipality, Big Bike Lover Community and Ride Thailand Magazine featured customised, classic and vintage motorcycles, and rare motorcycles from the collections of celebrities and well-known people in Thailand.

“The event allowed bike lovers to share their passion for their two-wheeled machines and help promote tourism, Thai culture and educate people on aspects of bike safety as well as global warming,” said Anoma Wongyai, Director of the TAT’s Phuket Office.

Participants enjoyed the Miss Phuket Bike Week contest, and shows performed by international bike clubs from various countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Turkey. There was also a bike parade through Phuket old town and Patong Beach.
