The DITP is set to hold THAIFEX – World of Food Asia from May 20 to 24 at the IMPACT Convention Centre, Bangkok. The purpose of the fair is to drive Thailand’s potential as the hub for the world’s food industry.
“In 2014, we accomplished all of our objectives for THAIFEX with 1,463 companies exhibiting their products and services in 3,453 booths, and a total number of 103,283 visitors from 35 countries worldwide,” said DITP Director General Nuntawan Sakuntanaga, “These statistics serve to highlight the significant role the food industry plays in Thailand’s economic growth – especially as global demand for food products continues to rise amidst the expansion of major markets in ASEAN and abroad.”
May 20 to 22 are business networking days with May 23 to 24 open to the general public.
