Brazil represents a promising market for exports of autoparts from Thailand. The nation is one of the largest car manufacturing countries in South America, with 3.74 million cars rolling off the production line each year, generating an annual revenue of US$39.7 billion.

Thai autopart manufacturers specialise in producing parts for Japanese and Korean brands, and are noted for the high quality of their work and competitive prices compared with other countries.

Brazil currently imports parts for Honda, Toyota and General Motors, and is expected to import more autoparts from Thailand in the near future. Thai businesses looking to export autoparts to Brazil are urged to manufacture parts for FIAT and Volkswagen, as they are popular amongst Brazilian drivers.
