The DITP is encouraging local entrepreneurs to apply for the Prime Minister’s Export Award or PM Award 2015, which will take place in September at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok.
“The department has planned to accelerate the growth of foreign trading together with publicising the image of Thailand and Thai products,” DITP Director General, Nuntawan Sakuntanaga said on March 10. “The PM Award guarantees the quality and standard of Thai products and services. Those who are granted the award will have opportunities to join various activities conducted by the DITP, including in-store promotions with department stores, or will be … eligible for obtaining the Thailand Trust Mark. They will also enjoy a 50 percent discount for joining international trade shows organised by the DITP.”
The award consists of six categories – Best Exporter, Best Green Innovation, Best Thai Brand, Best Design, Best Service Enterprise and Best OTOP Exporter Recognition.
