The DITP recently joined with Bangkok Bank and express carrier DHL in promoting Thaitrade.com, and to encourage Thai SMEs to embrace the digital economy.

“The collaboration aims to increase sales channels for Thai products and to support Thai SMEs by facilitating shipments and electronic payments for traders and buyers,” said DITP Director-General Nuntawan Sakuntanaga. “Thaitrade.com currently has more than 200,000 products and over 2.15 million visitors from 220 countries, thus giving Thai enterprises an opportunity to reach international customers.”
DHL Express Thailand's Managing Director Chananyarak Phetcharat said that the company has a team with specialized knowledge of customs regulations, and can help Thaitrade.com members with logistics and shipping goods to foreign countries.

Deputy Managing Director of Bangkok Bank, Suwan Tansatit, added, “Bangkok Bank has developed an e-payment system that ensures security and reliability. We also have 29 overseas branches, which can help to facilitate both sellers and buyers.”
