Thai Deputy Commerce Minister Apiradi Tantraporn presided over the opening of the 14th Thailand Week at the Myanmar Event Park, Yangon, from January 15 to 18. The event was joined by Pwint San, Deputy Minister of Commerce of Myanmar and several ministry officials.
Both parties discussed trade and investment collaboration between the two countries and the upcoming 7th Join Trade Committee (JTC) meeting, scheduled to take place in August 2015.
Thailand Week featured 230 booths with a variety of products and services, including fashion items, food, home decorations, health and beauty, auto parts, accommodation, spa and guidance on construction.
