Freelance illustrator Asuka 111 from Thailand scooped the top award at the Anime Festival Asia Singapore (AFA) 2014, held from December 5 to 7 in Singapore.
Asuka 111 beat off stiff completion from eight animation artists from ASEAN and Japan with his SGD1, 000 Cash and other products sponsored by Wacom Southeast Asia, Clip Studio Paint, COPIC and Art Friend.
More than 80,000 visitors enjoyed the impressive work created by the eight artists using digital and traditional tools.
