DITP together with XCON Company Limited, organisers of BIFF&BIL 2015 and Faculty of Agro Industry, Kasetsart University have organised Product Design Development Workshop in order to prepare Thai designers and entrepreneurs for the 33rd Bangkok International Fashion Fair & Bangkok International Leather Fair (BIFF&BIL 2015) at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre during March 11-15, 2015.

 

The workshop with 50 participants includes color and fashion, as well as market trends forecast for 2015-2016.

Chantira Jimreivat Vivatrat, Deputy Director of DITP explained “DITP has organised such workshop for 6 years consecutively to enhance the skills and capability of Thai entrepreneurs, which enables them to compete more fully in foreign markets.”

She added that the outlook of Thai fashion exports looks encouraging due to unique attributes of the products and the formation of AEC in 2015 will boost the exports  of Thai fashion products.

One of the workshop organizers, Anothai Cholachatpinyo from Kasetsart University added “50 entrepreneurs have been selected to join the workshop. They will be provided with necessary knowledge regarding marketing, product development and designing products that meet customer needs.”
