On 07 December 2014, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) Nuntawan Sakuntanaga together with Supachai Iamsuwan, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai presided over the opening ceremony of Chiang Mai Design Inspiration of the Year, taking place during 07 December 2014-28 February 2015 at Hall of Design DITP Chiang Mai.
The exhibition aims at inspiring entrepreneurs to work creatively and develop their products and services. “DITP aims to promote value creation, innovation and branding for Thai products, especially for entrepreneurs in Chiang Mai, who can incorporate the uniqueness of Lanna art and culture in their designs. The initiatives could contribute to export value in the future” said Sakuntanaga
The exhibition consists of four exhibit sections: Chiang Mai Advantage, where local products will be displayed, DEmark showcase of award-winning design
