The DITP, in cooperation with the Software Industry Promotion Agency (SIPA) and Thai Animation Computer Graphic Association (TACGA), held a seminar entitled Mentoring Asian Animation Summit 2014 on November 6 in Bangkok.

The seminar focussed on technical knowledge training for 50 animation entrepreneurs by Tim Brooke-Hunt, an animation expert from Australian company Pacific Vision. It included how to be successful in animation industry with case studies from Australia, the difference in target audiences, and how to make your show stand out and sell.

This seminar is part of the DITP’s support for Thai entrepreneurs in readiness for the Asian Animation Summit 2014 (AAS 2014) which will be held from December 3 to 5 in Hanoi, Vietnam. AAS 2014 is an annual event designed to showcase Asia's strongest animated projects looking for investors and partners, and to stimulate co-production and co-financing of animation in the region.
