trade fashion design Bangkok The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) will present a POP Fashion & Design event from June 20 to 29 at the Siam Centre, Bangkok. The event aims to create alliances and business network for Thai designers to assist them stepping into the global trade fashion and lifestyle sectors.

Both industries make a valuable contribution to Thailand’s trade. In 2013, exports of fashion products amounted to US$17.2 billion and lifestyle products US$2.1 billion. The DITP considers the POP Fashion & Design event the perfect stage for promoting potential Thai brands and make them more accepted and well-known in both local and international markets. Some 25 brands, including winners from Talent Thai and Design Excellence Award (DEmark), will be showcasing their works at pop-up stores.

Doors open from 10am to 10pm from June 20 to 29 at the 2nd floor, Siam Centre.
